The "12 Months for CSR" campaign includes a series of actions aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The 12 months of 2025 will be dedicated to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the management that integrates Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB) and Viladecans Hospital. Throughout the year, initiatives will be carried out to strengthen the commitment of both centres to improving environmental management, reducing the ecological footprint, enhancing the patient experience, empowering professionals, and engaging with citizens and civic entities in their territorial scope, among others.

The main objectives of the project are to convey to citizens the importance of CSR, the commitment and relevance it has for HUB and Viladecans Hospital as organizations, the actions it entails, and to encourage new initiatives in this line with the participation of the professionals from the centres.

co2

Every year at HUB, we produce the CO2 equivalent of nearly 450 Bellvitge-Tarragona car trips.

January 28th is World Day for the Reduction of Carbon Dioxide Emissions, a date created by the UN to raise awareness about taking care of the planet.

It is a day to reflect on the environmental impacts of climate change and make decisions that help reverse it.

With this goal, we will recover and adapt a campaign that was held in 2022, which showed HUB’s impact on CO2, water consumption, etc., and invited professionals to access an infographic with recommendations on how to reduce our footprint.
