The Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB) and Tech Barcelona, a non-profit association that works to consolidate Barcelona as a benchmark on the international digital and technological scene, have signed a collaboration agreement to promote technological innovation in the field of health.
As part of its 50th anniversary activities, The Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB) has hosted the presentation and debate session of the report “Towards a new evaluation and service contracting framework based healthcare value”. The event is co-organised by the Catalan Society of Health Management, the Academy of Medical and Health Sciences of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands and the HUB.
It is now located just outside the Bellvitge Hospital metro stop. With seven bunk beds for blood, plasma and platelets donation, it operates from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 8 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm and from 3 pm to 8 pm. Last year, 8,144 blood donations and 1,138 plasma donations were made.

Oriol Broggi (Barcelona, 1971) is one of the most renowned theatre directors in Catalonia and on the international stage for his ability to innovate and surprise with the classics. Broggi, who holds a degree in Dramaturgy and Stage Direction from the Institut del Teatre and is trained in image and sound, will give the opening lecture “Looking at life as if from the stage” at the 22nd Conference of the Catalan Society for Quality Care. The event will take place on 9 June in the auditorium of the University Hospital of Bellvitge.
