The Centre for Advanced Medical-Surgical Simulation (SimHUB) at the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB) is a new facility of excellence designed to foster the spirit of research, innovation and continuous training of professionals through simulation.
Clinical processes and highly complex procedures can be recreated in environments comparable to the real ones without any errors having repercussions on the patient.
It allows training in technical skills (minimally invasive and robotic surgery, critical patient) and non-technical skills (communication between professionals, professional-patient and decision-making workshops), with high-level material and customisation of specific scenarios.
It also offers basic healthcare training for companies, organisations, local councils and other health and hospital centres.
