The international course Skull Base Week , which runs from Wednesday 9 to Friday 11 March, will address the latest procedures in the surgical treatment of skull base tumours.

The exhibition "HUB Pioneer Women" brings together the experience of eight women who at different periods in the history of the hospital were able to explore new territories, to train so that they could take on new responsibilities, as well as to lead innovative processes of change in various areas of the centre's work, health and otherwise.

The study of the national registry ROBOCER, led by the Bellvitge University Hospital and IDIBELL, highlights the benefits of robotic surgery. This study is based on data from all cases of cervical cancer operated with the Da Vinci robot in Spain since 2009. The conclusions of the latest analysis are reported in a scientific paper published in February in the journal Cancers.

Up to 11 applications for grants for research projects of the 2021 call of the Health Research Fund (Fondo de Investigaciones Sanitarias, FIS) of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, submitted by professionals of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB) who also are IDIBELL researchers, have been provided. The approved projects represent 50% of all the applications.
