The monthly live concerts in the Dialysis Unit and Day Hospital start again with the guitar player Miguel Moreno. These performances are possible thanks to the NGO Música en Vena (Catalan for “Music Shot). They are an initiative of the "HUBmanització" (HUBmanisation) project, which promotes the improvement of the care experience at Bellvitge Hospital.
The Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB) is extending its visiting hours for patients in non-COVID areas as of next Monday, 14 March. Thus, the new visiting hours will be from 13:00 to 21:00 pm from Monday to Sunday, and from 9:00 to 21:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. There can only be one visitor per patient, although they may be different ones per shift.
The project was created with the aim of improving the stay in our centre for outpatients and their relatives or visitors. From now on, they will be provided with books and magazines they can read during their stay. The first two Reading and BookCrossing points have been installed in the dialysis waiting rooms (floor -1) and in cardiology area (2nd floor of the tower).
