The Advanced Medical-Surgical Simulation Center (SimHUB) at the Bellvitge University Hospital is a new equipment of excellence at the HUB to promote the spirit of research, innovation, and continuous training for healthcare professionals through simulation. It enables the recreation of clinical processes and high-complexity procedures in environments comparable to real-life settings, without any risks to patients from potential errors.
The center allows for training in both technical skills (such as minimally invasive and robotic surgery, critical care) and non-technical skills (including communication between professionals, professional-patient interaction, and decision-making workshops), using high-level materials and customized scenarios.
Basic healthcare training is also available for companies, organizations, municipalities, and other healthcare and hospital centers.
