International Nursing Day is celebrated with the performance

The Catalan disco and funk music group Fundación Tony Manero today offered a free concert at the Bellvitge University Hospital to thank the efforts of all health professionals, and especially nurses. The concert, which also celebrates International Nursing Day (May 12), was held with a capacity limited to 150 hospital workers, all of them seated, with safety distances and masks, to keep the maximum health precautions determined by Covid-19.

For just over half an hour, the Tony Manero Foundation has performed some of his best-known songs, such as Inevitable, Super sexy girl and Muñeco analógico. The band is celebrating its 25 years of musical career in 2021 with the tour El último baile, which also becomes its farewell as a group, as a few months ago they announced its dissolution.

The Director of Nursing at Bellvitge Hospital, Rosa Soldevila, gave a brief introduction to the concert, stressing that the Tony Manero Foundation “wanted to thank all the efforts of the health center workers over the last year and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. chosen the Bellvitge Hospital to do it, being in addition a year also special for them ”.
