Maica Galán Guzmán

Specialist in medical oncology and doctor of medicine and has been a physician at the Clinical Hospital of Barcelona, ​​the Vall de Hebrón University Hospital and, since 1998, the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO). Within this institution, she has been, among others, coordinator of the HUB-ICO Functional Unit for Esophagogastric Tumors, care manager of the Medical Oncology Service and, between 2018 and 2022, care director of the ICO del Hospitalet.

He is a member, among others, of the European Society for Medical Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Spanish Society of Oncology, Cooperative Group for the Treatment of Digestive Tumors, and the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer.
