L'actuació s’emmarca dins del Pla d’Enfortiment i Transformació de l’Atenció Primària i té l’objectiu d’oferir més espai i confort a la ciutadana
Aquesta setmana han entrat en funcionament tres nous mòduls de suport per a l’activitat COVID a la regió sanitària Metropolitana Sud. Han iniciat la seva activitat els dels CAP de Cunit, Pallejà i Lluís Millet, a Esplugues. Aquests espais estan situats al costat dels centres d’atenció primària i permeten traslladar fora del centre l’activitat relacionada amb el coronavirus, com ara la realització de proves PCR, la vacunació o l’atenció als pacients amb sospita COVID, en funció de les necessitats que tingui cada equip.
L'objectiu d'aquestes infraestructures és separar l’activitat COVID de la resta, garantint els dobles circuits i assegurant una major seguretat dels professionals i els ciutadans dins els centres, així com donar suport als que no disposen de suficient espai.
Els tres mòduls que han començat a funcionar compten amb 45 metres quadrats coberts. A l’interior hi ha una consulta, dos punts per a la realització de proves PCR i un espai d’atenció al pacient.
Dels 18 mòduls que Salut té previst instal·lar a regió Metropolitana Sud, ja n’hi ha cinc en funcionament: als tres d’aquesta setmana s’hi sumen els que s'havien posat en marxa darrerament al CAP Amadeu Torner de L’Hospitalet de Llobregat i al CAP Pou Torres de Begues. La resta estaran enllestits abans de l’estiu i estaran situats en els següents centres d’atenció primària: CAP Can Bou (Castelldefels), CAP Abrera, CAP La Gavarra (Cornellà de Llobregat), CAP Ramona Via (El Prat de Llobregat), CAP Olesa (Olesa de Montserrat), CAP Sant Joan (Vilanova i la Geltrú), CAP Sitges, CAP Dr. Bartomeu Fabré Anglada (Gavà), CAP La Florida (l’Hospitalet de Llobregat), CAP La Granja (Molins de Rei), CAP Sant Just, CAP Vilafranca Nord i CAP Sant Andreu de la Barca.
