The simulation training provided at the Centre for Advanced Medical-Surgical Simulation (SimHUB) is aimed at:

- Resident doctors: training, skills reinforcement.

- Practitioners: practice of new techniques, new skills acquisition, experience enhancement.

- Specialisation: knowledge improvement, experience, training to become trainers.

- Health training: courses for companies, sports and social organisations, local councils and hospitals.

- Simulation of technical skills

  • Advanced surgery simulation programme: surgical endoscopy, non-surgical endoscopy, traumatology, microsurgery, minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
  • Basic transversal surgery simulation programme.

-Simulation of non-technical skills

  • We boost communication skills for both the interaction among professionals and the interaction professional-patient, as well as decision-making skills.
  • Specific simulation workshops of medical, nursing, physiotherapy, psychology, dietetics, podiatry and mutual labour consultations.
