Degree in Medicine from the University of Valladolid in 2005. Specialized in Thoracic Surgery through the MIR program at Bellvitge Hospital from 2006-2011. Over 15 years of experience in thoracic surgery, with a particular focus on Robotic Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, and Main Airway Surgery.

Key Achievements and Contributions:

Training stays at the Mutualiste Montsouris Institute (Paris) and the IRCAD - daVinci Training Centre (Strasbourg). Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona for over 12 years. Visiting Professor at the Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” in 2024. Member of the Clinical Expertise Unit Network (XUEC) for rare respiratory diseases (Respiratory Malformations), as well as part of the Complex Esophagus Unit at Bellvitge University Hospital.
